You may or may not enjoy outdoor activities that depend on a healthy environmental setting here in South Dakota. However, if you enjoy living or visiting South Dakota because of its variety of natural resources and the blessings they bring, then you have something of importance in common with SDWF members.

Membership to SDWF shall be limited to those organizations and individuals whose principles and policies are consistent with those of the SDWF.

There are two types of membership to the SDWF. The first, is an individual membership of $20 annually. The second, is a membership through a local affiliate.

As a SDWF member you will receive our newsletter. Out of Doors, the official voice of the SDWF, is published monthly and sent to each member. The paper contains many informational articles and alerts members to state and national conservation concerns.

As a member of SDWF you will be a part of a large organization that works closely with other citizens groups to develop community and state understanding and support for rational conservation programs. SDWF members work toward preservation of access and use of public right-of-ways for recreational pursuits.
